The C is a pussycat compared with the D. Experiences seem to vary, though.
Some C's seem to do a 'bird on a post' landing pretty nicely. Others seem
to go 'thud.' 

Then again, none is worse than a tailwheel plane with heel brakes in a
cross-wind :-)
