Does anyone know where to locate wing tank filler gaskets (good for Auto
fuel) and parts for the inside fuel gage on the left hand 9 gal wing
tank on a 1966 Alon .

Skyport has the bits. 800-624-5312 x207

The inside gage is leaking and glass gage is so discolored you can
bearly read it. I believe it iswourking except fuel has gotten into the
top of the gage and discolored the lens. The fuller gaskets are cracked
and fuel tends to leak out in flight when the tanks are full ,which is
unnerving to say the least.

Someone here once told us how to make the lens clear again. I've
forgotten. I'd
probably try toothpaste, to see if that removed the discoloration. Works
dandy
with watch crystals :-)

I also have a question on parking brakes. My brake handle is between the
seats but there does not seam to be a way to lock the brakes when parked.
?

If I recall correctly, the Alon uses a parking brake valve like a Cessna.
You pull
the brake on, then pull a plunger on the panel which closes a valve
between the
master cylinder and the brakes, resulting in the brakes staying on.
