Bob, do the rubber donuts and the "O" rings first, then determine if you need spacers. You may not. Syd Cohen [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: ----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- Iam still trying to determine how to porceed in fixing my 9 1/2" tail low problem on my Alon A2 S/N 221 . After careful investigation I have determined this plane has regular donuts on it's landing gear not the bellesville springs. (there are 4 donuts on each side,.not 7 springs ) Were any Alons delivered this way? I have all the logs and the only referance is back in 1990 where it noted " installed new shock pads & O rings in shock units" I jacked up the plane today and with the gear hanging free the donuts can be moved up & down about 3/4 " I would think there should be no movement here. If Iam correct and I am hoping someone out there knows. I think I should replace the donuts, install the new spacer kit and the oleo "O" rings as there seems to be some minor leakage on the strut. I hope this is a the way to go. Any advice would be apreciated Bob Bullock N5621F Maryland ================================================================== TO UNSUBSCRIBE go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm ================================================================== TO UNSUBSCRIBE go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm
