But water will mix with the alcohol in the fuel I know engines run just fine on auto gas but there are additives in auto fuel that can be harmful to the aircraft fuel system, beware. I know that alcohol will temporarily mix with gas, and be hard to detect, but water will not- and you will see it in your gas can. If it wasnt in your gas can, then it wasnt somehow mysteriously in the gas.
