The only problem with running 100LL in a car, is it will plug the
catalytic converter in about ten minutes. These small Contientals are
very low performance engines for their size. Your most likely right,
once warmed up, they would probably run on kerosene. I've got a Jag
XKE, without a converter that goes way better on 100 LL. In fact it's
about twenty MPH faster than the coupe.
