I always hear that auto gas is harmful to aircraft and avgas is harmful to automobiles my qustion is what gets harmed by what?While stationed overseas the gas was rationed I was crewing a U-10 hileo courrier ,on floats that we had to drain fuel from on certian missions.That ole Mercury musta didn't know it wasnt soposed to run on that drained gas' but I went to Itly several times as well as lots a other places .brought it home to.As far as I know they aint no differant parts in a small Continal Aircraft eng.than a Farmall Tractor and they both got a Marvel-Shrabner carburator an the tractor will run o Kerosene if it set right ========================================================================== ==== To leave this forum go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm
