what about the ILOVEYOU.vbs worm/virus? Can you really hold on person
because the majority of people choose to use MS email clients. Many people
asked what they could do to avoid this virus.....i told them to use eudora
or pc-pine. nobody did and we made a killing on virus cleanup. why didn't
they change e-mail clients...they didn't feel like downloading eudora or
whatever other reason that people think of. Because of that laziness, a
lot of people lost a lot of money. (corps and people)
you can't hold one person responsible for somebody else's poor
administration skills. Its similar to a mother(the goverment, the people)
holding colt(Max Vision) responsible because her 5 year fould the gun a
blew off his hand.(because sysadmins run BIND "Buggy Internet Name Deamon"
that is insecure)
or the lady the burned herself with mickey dees coffee because she's a
moron. for about 3 months after she sued, everybody had to suffer with
lukeworm coffee.
arg. people. don't get me started :-)
