The GPL legally establishes a heterogenuos pool of software.

Hey dak, how come that the FSF claimed in court that the GPL is NOT A
POOLING LICENSE (and is merely "a vertical agreement between the licensee and the licensor of the underlying software" instead)?

The F.S.F. is free to claim contradictory interpretations of anything
they wish. This is part and parcel of the legal principle of "infringing
a moving target". In the land of GNU if you say something stupid, then
in the next breath you just claim the opposite is true.

If you don't like something, then just mooooooooooooooooooooooooooove
the goalposts.
