Yes, screenshots are allowed so long as you send them as actual attachments.
Inline images get blocked.

Attached here are what double-line mode and split-mode look like.  From
your description it's split-mode.  But yes, a screenshot should help.

Also show us your Edit -> Preferences -> Register Defaults page.
