A few days ago, I posted a simple explanation showing why/how there are two classes of US citizens. The post was simple to read and hard to prove wrong by argument or evidence. The reply to that post, by one Mario Goviea, and 'approved' by the moderators, centred on the following: "Mervyn himself was a third class citizen in Tanzania." Mario Goviea did not try to prove my post, about US citizens, to be false or erroneous. All he did was engage in a personal attack.
RESPONSE: Experts (not me) will tell you, that the impersonal nature of communicating by email sometimes lead us to understand something not what the author intended to say. If you are claiming to be a recipient of a personal attack in the above example, it is more than likely you have indulged in similar commentary in a similar vein at somebody else or possibly Mario too. All we need now is for Mario to list his perceived personal attacks and we have another unending thread between the same individuals, again.
Let me take this opportunity to familiarize you and others with another Goanet Rule:
If you face a problem with another member, or their postings, please bring your grievance to the Goanet Administration rather than to the list.
Goanet Admin will deal with the offending poster as we have in the past. I'm sure you still hear from some of them.
