I commend Mario for defending the USA and George Bush - single handedly. However, my wish is to make him famous - like another Dinesh D'Souza.
Perhaps Mario with his extensive knowledge and time on his hands, could write a book responding to / rebutting a book written by an American. Title: BIG LIES - The Right-Wing Propaganda Machine and How it Distorts the Truth. by Joe Conason; St. Martin Press. ISBN 0-312-31560-0 For starters, Mario could read this book. Perhaps this and other such books are more widely read in Toronto, Canada and London, England compared to Toledo Ohio. To me (a conservative), the Republicans would be better off making the case of where in the federal budget to cut; rather than whom not / to tax. I would rather see Americans taxed; instead of borrowing the money from the Chinese to cover the budget deficit. The latter results in forcing our children and grandchildren to pay the debt .... as taxes. Now, is not that true conservatism? As far as suggestions for budget cuts, please do not give us the usual Republican refrain, "Roll back the wasteful federal spending of the last eight years".
