That assumes that I have coordinates. I don't have coordinates. The URL is for a local search, the output desired is a map with coordinates. The use of static maps was a shortcut.
Even Google Static Maps documentation suggestions looking for the lat/ lng on the page: "You can obtain geocoded latitude and longitude values using a variety of services other than this Geocoding service, including Google Maps itself. For example, you can enter an address into Google Maps and determine its geocoded location by clicking on the Link to this page link in the upper right of the map. A popup dialog box will appear where you can copy the URL. If you copy that URL into a browser, you will be able to find the geocoded values contained within the ll parameter." It just so happens that these sorts of tricks do not seem to work using Google Maps with the output=html parameter. No Link to find the decimal coordinates. Instead, there are these: latitude_e6=51472608, longitude_e6=4294519238. I very much appreciate the replies and hope that there is a way. I can't tell from the current set of replies though if people are not sure if there is a conversion possible. I figured there must be hope, since those are the parameters Google Maps used so I figure they must know how to convert them, and therefore maybe someone in this group does too. I would guess it is a static sort of mathematical / conversion function.
