Linux is an adventure, it requires that the user do some learning, reading and being patient. It requires that you learn its limitations along with its strong points and this takes time, most who have done this have tried several different distros of linux to find the one they really like. If Windows is easier for you to use then by all means go back to it and don't spend any more time learning how things work.
