I'm not prepared to argue about what is or is not off-topic for planet except I think religious conversations, in general, clearly are. I made sure not to accidentally send religious posts from my own blogs to planet years ago (creating a "mozilla" feed on my blogs). I did this because I figured it would be offensive (and boring) to make my coworkers read my musings on theology or praxis.
