they post to Planet, and start with a disclaimer if what they write
about is potentially divisive, not that they don't post religious content?
I think the answer is very simple
Just indicate in the subject that the content is "Personal Opinion"
Example: Gay Marriage referendum |Personal Opinion
Now if you think you will be offended, then don't be by simply skipping
the post
If OTOH you feel the need to be offended then read it and be as irate as
you want
Everyone's personal opinions and beliefs are precious to them
We need to learn to respect that, and not be so confrontational
