If I consider this as a benevolent comment then it is sort of true, but it is important that the comment not be interpreted by anyone as us not caring about the "small target" system. We are vitially interested in it so that we can piggyback our research investigations on to it, but also because we do believe in the point so many of the list have made - it must be usable by the clinician- if we didn't value that then our research would also be most probaly useless and that is the opposite to our motivation. My own belief is that we can do fundamental research in Health Informatics and make a contribution to everyday practice - we are not molecular physicists but we might well be rocket scientists (let's hope). cheers jon > > Ian > > _______________________________________________ > Gpcg_talk mailing list > [email protected] > http://ozdocit.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/gpcg_talk > ---------------------------------------------------------------- This message was sent using IMP, the Internet Messaging Program. _______________________________________________ Gpcg_talk mailing list [email protected] http://ozdocit.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/gpcg_talk
