Can you explain further how this works? I know MSS charge a bit for
this solution and claim it's easily usable over dialup. Why do you
have MSSQL at both ends - is it doing replication? If so you would
expect better speed as they should be connecting to the LAN instance.
If I have this wrong and you're doing a client-server database
connection over a WAN, then Terminal Services is the answer to your
problem.
