This is not true. With the current Medicare Online Claiming system, no
signature is required. The whole claim is generated and sent
electronically.

You sure about that? I'm not at work today so I cannot check but we use
Online claiming for all our BB claims and AFAIK nothing gets sent off
unless the voucher is signed AND we have to keep those vouchers - there
was a discussion about shredding these, etc not son long ago on this list
