I would ask the lady who cares so much about linguistic nuances to broaden her language repertoire to include smileys/emoticons, especially so, since humour and irony fail to impress upon her. Otherwise she can fall prey to non-existing scepters again. Also, her inclusive "we" appropriates too much. ;-) I, for one, won't concede myself to anybody taking over the role of collective consciousness.
