That is one of the points I made to Mike re RPG settings. A RPG needs internal logic so players can understand the GM. The Segway has contragrav, ducted fans, power cell, and a "harness" crew station. The harness option also covers things like skis, so it could arguably be a Segway. The chariot also has contragrav, ducted fans, and a power cell, but it has multiple exposed standing rooms.
