Anyone taken a look at the mecha from Battletech and like?
If anything for ideas or inspiration?
Yes a Mech is much bigger but .. some of its functions are the same to a
degree?

I doubt the level of an Iron Man or like suit will eb needed or available
for now, but ... One day?
What about the armor from SG1 and like? Its not very efficient in some ways
but ...
For me the idea of a battle suit has multiple purposed and applications.
To make it easier to get around and survive in a war much like we have been
fighting.
The load a soldier carries just him/her self is close to or about real
ability for them to carry and still be effective, but exo-skeletons are
close but how soon?
I expect if woman really want to be in a front line combat unit, some sort
of exoskeleton or like will be needed or a dramatic change in what and how
much an average Infantry soldier carries around..
Alternate, is the need for combat on planets and places not very hospitable
to human life, be it a space station (likely with it being hard vaccum), or
alien world, or protecting a cargo ship comming in from the asteroids or ...
Jupiters rings might be extreme but ..
Movie Battle Ship, and the aliens and their battle suit, protection from
things that can harm them but also blind them?
Weapons mounts and gear mounts, why need a tent when you can sleep in your
armor or .. hum, how to shower?
