Remember that the operator has to fit in. Many drawings make me
wonder where the legs are supposed to go. Even if the battlesuit
supports the operator, the operator should be able to stand
naturally.

Is there enough information? As I recall we see it mostly from 
the outside.

At high TLs, unpowered soldiers -- male or female -- are toast.
Only suits can carry the armor to survive.

Does the battlesuit come with full life support? Then there must
be a way to "collect" sweat. Dirt shouldn't get in, either. Good 
temperatures, too. How many showers do you need?
