Hi, First the user is talking about getting a new computer. So finding drivers will be no problem what so ever. Second I am running vista on all my computers now and have had only one problem. That problem was hp decided not to update the scanner drivers for my 10 year old scanner. That was a choice maid buy hp and has nothing what so ever to do with vista. A note vista does not use video chaining for window-eyes it uses a mirror driver. This means no matter what happens with your video driver it gets updated you role it back etc you will not have to reinstall video support. System restore under vista does a much better job of restoring your system then xp. It is much easier to find files etc then under xp. Programs you use often launch faster than programs you don't use as much. The volume for each program addressing the sound card can be changed using the volume control. Each device on your sound card is treated as its own device so no more selecting line in for gold wave for example and then having to go back in to select mike for skype. I could go on and on about the features that I use under vista and love but the thing about it is vista is here to stay will be here for a while and best get used to it.
