I surely don't wish to start a ruckus, but if I had a printer, scanner, or
some other device for which I couldn't find drivers, I think I'd be out
purchasing new hardware. With the cost of printers and scanners being as
low as they currently are, keeping a 5 or 10 year old device seems, well,
unnecessary. I have a Dell AIO926 all-in-one unit here that cost $49. With
the purchase of this unit I also received a $50 Dell gift card. That meant
that the unit cost me negative $1. A friend who is also on this list, just
bought a scanner for I believe around $75. So, where's the beef(smile)?

The lack of drivers is a Vista issue because Vista requires these drivers
in order for your scanners and printers to work with the operating system.
