Be very careful and back up your system before running a registery cleaner.
Most advanced technicians will discourage you from running those,
and unless you know all the dependancies, and know exactly what you
are doing, you can mess up a lot of stuff doing so.
Make sure your reg cleaner will accurately un-do changes.
This is one area where microsoft has actually improved in the last few years,
a very knowledgeable technician
I know named Brian smart
posted a very interested article about xp and windows 7 and how the
registry is more efficient now,
when all the driver ills are finally straightened out, most common
computer maintainance tasks are automated,
and many common computer tweaks aren't necessary anymore.
But I digress,
the main problem with cleanin the registry is that you my
inadvertently remove some reference to something that will cripple a program,
so be careful.
Every time I've done a registry clean, even a conservative one,
something gets stuffed up, and I have to fix it.
Better to just image when your system gets trashed out.

Hello all,
I would like to run a registry cleaner on my Windows 7 PC.
There seems to be a great many out there, without any indication of
accessibility on them.
It is too important, to me, to run something like this on my PC and then
find I cannot read the information on it.
Can I please have a recommendation of an accessible Windows 7 registry
cleaner?
Many thanks in advance.
