Hi John, I use a few registry cleaners and they are accessible to different degrees. Some are free and others are shareware. the programs I use are:
CCleaner www.ccleaner.com jv16 PowerTools (a utility suite including a registry cleaner) www.macecraft.com Regvac www.regvac.com Reg Organizer www.chemtable.com Ace Utilities (a utility suite that includes a registry cleaner) www.acelogix.com And Tune-Up Utilities (a utility suite that includes a registry cleaner) www.tune-up.com I use these utilities once a week to clean my registry and do other maintenance tasks such as defragmenting the registry and deleting unnecessary files. I've almost never had a problem using these programs. I hope this helps. Regards Steve.
