You don't need to do many of these tasks that often. You shouldn't have to defrag your HD every week. In fact, defragging too often can shorten the life of your HD. Andy

So my registry edits are very conservative. and very specific to a function. Because, my friends, there is no way a general purpose registry clean can know what belongs to what ahead of time, because there aren't always log files, and apps can be written all different kinds of ways and there are just too many dependancies. It is not for no reason that microsoft doesn't recommend registry cleaners. Disk Image your system when things are running right, and you'll always be able to go back to a good place.
