Hi Karli, Well, in theory at least, your cable connection should be faster than my dsl. Anyway, sounds like your speed issue isn't a result of a slow connection.
Frankly, that google page is about the slowest I've come across with the braillesense. I really doubt if anything is wrong with your sense. What I'd suggest is that you try several different sites and pages. See what the speed is like with those other sites and also check out the backspace p command. If you are on a page and then move to a second page and try to go back, if the first page has changed in the meantime, the goback command may not work. This is more a function of the page than the browser itself. There are supposed to be some standards in web page design, but in the real world everyone seems to do his or her own thing. And, Mike is right. The braillesense isn't a pc and it's browser isn't as full-featured as browsers for the pc. They work just fine in many many situations, but they all seem to have problems with the more complex web pages that are so common these days. But, it really is frustrating when a particular page you're really interested in is one of these problem pages. I do hope your experience with other pagesare more positive. My guess is that it has something to do with the very large number of links and such on the page, but that's only a guess. Don't be nervous about using the web browser as you can't hurt anything. The worst that might happen is that it can lock up on some pages and you'll have to do a reset, but if the browser is all you have open, you really won't loose any data.
