And I meant it generically. The group is now too big for it to be any  
one individual and their pals. And as the group grows - as it will  
continue to - the diversity increases, and it becomes increasingly  
less possible for decisions to be made based on who is who's pal.

However, I would suggest that you make this remark because you  
personally dislike Owen, not because he's actually doing that.

Yes, obviously. The committer themself determines whether the code  
submitted is in their personal area of expertise, and whether they are  
competent to review it. I'm not clear where you're seeing things  
operate otherwise.

Again, it seems to me that you're hearing him say that because you  
personally dislike him, not because he's actually saying that.
