I do agree with rick_c.
Obviously, merging is even more of an intimidating process than branching.
But we can always ask someone who's more knowledgeable to actually do the
merge. And I am sure many would be happy to help with this. I personally am
going to pester Rich to merge my branches, if any :)

I don't think anyone would want their branch/merge to look messed up. Hence
the intimidation. I constantly test my commits play around on a local
sandbox SVN. And it helps a lot.
