Billable and C.O.D. are the best combo. Problem is every once in awhile a jerk comes in here and thinks he can force an issue, like pick up his computer and leave without paying if he feels it should be warranty work. It is best by far to be the jerk instead of getting jerked around. To be a jerk, you simply have it in writing and have them sign the statement that no software or operating system work is under warranty. With low labor rates you are eating beans anyway. To avoid being a jerk you end up not eating at all.
