It's one thing to remove a feature that presents a problem (possible security exploit, kludgy code, etc). But to simply remove something on whim (and Valve has not offered a reason for the removal, so it this point I have to assume it was whim) is never a good thing. It's shoddy and isn't good for developer/publisher relations.
I have enough 'opportunities' in my life. I don't need them thrust upon me. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tony "omega" Sergi" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: 12/20/03 7:26 PM Subject: Re: [hlcoders] Deathmessages stopped working in Steam > here's where we differ on the situation: > > I don't consider it a bad thing that the notify is gone. > > I consider it a [bold]good[/bold] thing. > _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlcoders
