I have to agree, the miles codec works fine. In fact I find the Speex codec
isn't all that usable on my HLDM server, it either make litttle difference
or makes players sound tinny and with some players there is a lot of
choppiness.
Compared to updating SRCTV so it really works this is a total non-issue in
my mind.

I'm sorry guys, I just don't see the codec as being that bad. I am gonna
play the devils advocate and state that some of you guys are just

I have an sblive platinum hooked up to some klipsch pro-media's, while it

an older setup maybe it is better than the common user and I am spoiled. I
don't believe that but it is possible.
