I think the tank speed also depends on the campaign difficulty, like in
Expert it is faster than on easy. I can't confirm though. But on the amount
of infected spawning, be aware than the director controls it. If you were
doing badly in one round the director won't spawn as much infected on you.
If you are doing remarkable expect tons of zombies. Director is adjusting to
your team's skill.

Can you confirm any of this? When a player is in the yellow or red, they run
slower, the tank doesn't run faster.  I don't think hosting the game locally
changes any cvars for the amount of infected spawning, but I could be wrong.
