I have run my gameservers on a rootserver for months now and i find
myself having to reset the server due to some messed up update (don't
ask). I wanted to ask you guys for advice, since i have the possibility
to choose between a 32 bit image and a 64 bit one for debian stable,
which i will be using to run the gameservers and a small webserver for
my community sites.

The machine has plenty of horsepower for my small needs, it's an i7 920
with 8gb of ram and 2 750 SATA2 drives in mirroring.

I noticed a small decrease of performance once installing hlxce on the
two l4d1 servers i had running, my community consists of competitive
players so they're a little bitchy about hit reg, but l4d2 servers were
pretty much fine.

I am really tempted on trying out the performance on a 64bit setup, a
colleague of mine said to me it runs just fine and there are not any
compatibility issues that i should worry about, except for those 32bit
libs which i need to install. Is there anything i should take into
account before installing the 64bit OS? How is your experience on it?
