Stuart Cheshire has a draft describing how to populate a DNS zone using mDNS.   
It's not a bad idea, although I don't think the architecture document should 
mention it—there is at least one other alternative, and by mentioning solely 
mDNS we are making a decision that I don't think has general agreement.
