Fortunately, in this case, there are open source implementations of both protocols that have been integrated with HNCP on OpenWRT. So, we are likely to end up here if we pick one. Regarding Ted's points about consensus: I think the WG has pretty strong consensus to pick one. There is a split amongst the WG regarding which one we prefer, but I think there might be many of us who would _accept_ either choice and think that was better than not picking one at all.
