[1] I brought up the modular/monolithic stuff because it's
already clear that this is going to be one of _THE_
main Big Decisions we will have to make. So, start
thinking about it now. :-)
[2] "Duke it out" is an old fashioned term for "fist fight."
However, in modern use it's only used in a friendly
context to refer to heated discussions among friends.
