This almost 'requires' a new study, especially since those ancient
studies require/recommend us to leave 70+% of a 3390-27 (17GB per page
dataset) free for some algorithme that required it decades ago for
devices from decades ago.

I still am under the impression that leaving 70% of a 3390-3 free will
equal leaving them same 2GB free on a 3390-27. Well ok, to avoid the 70%
full messages, I am willing to leave 7.5GB free, but I would like to see
studies that proves it benificial to leave the other 10GB free.

Thanks Jim, for letting the bull out of the barn... Someone has to get
it in again.

Kees.
