A one-man z/OS shop??? I don't believe that. What about holidays, weekend support, sick leave etc? I suppose z/OS systems run business critical applications. Besides colleagues, there are also courses to learn the art. Compare it to driving a truck, there is way to get permission to drive it without a drivers license, even if you are a one-man transport company.
