>A one-man z/OS shop??? I don't believe that. Believe. I know of several small shops with just 1 sysprog. That doesn't include the small ISVs that may be running on FLEX or P390 still. I know another shop that has 0 sysprogs left and just runs on contract sysprog support on an as needed basis.
