Agreed. I have successfully used LOAD EP=<module> and DELETE macros without any problems in ancient times (before or after Julius Ceaser, hmmm? ;-D ) when SMF exits were not that being dynamic as today. I have used it in UJI exit where I loaded accounting codes via above macros, thus avoiding IPLs when a new accounting code is created. I only needed a fast 'F LLA,REFRESH' after rebuilding that module containing a list of accounting codes. These days I just do a RACROUTE Call when SMF UJI exit needs to checkup an accounting code in batch jobs. It is more dynamic for my needs. ;-) Groete / Greetings Elardus Engelbrecht ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
