Agreed. 

I have successfully used LOAD EP=<module> and DELETE macros without any 
problems in ancient times (before or after Julius Ceaser, hmmm? ;-D ) when SMF 
exits were not that being dynamic as today. I have used it in UJI exit where I 
loaded accounting codes via above macros, thus avoiding IPLs when a new 
accounting code is created. I only needed a fast 'F LLA,REFRESH' after 
rebuilding that module containing a list of accounting codes.

These days I just do a RACROUTE Call when SMF UJI exit needs to checkup an 
accounting code in batch jobs. It is more dynamic for my needs. ;-)
