What I did not mention in my reply to Peter Relson--He knows it--is that, while awareness is not automatic, it very easy to make any AS aware that something is in the CSA and to enable that AS to access it.
I do, however, want to make it clear that my post was not part of a marketing campaign for GLOBAL=yes. Other techniques are certainly appropriate in many circumstances, perhaps even in most; and those who prefer them should use them.
