The books actually talk about making these program controlled profiles 
UACC(READ). Otherwise bad surprises might happen.

No, it's not. :-) It doesn't talk about DFSMRCL0. (just kidding).

Actually, I started migrating to 1.13. Part of that is setting up RDz again. 
And no connection was possible to the RDz daemon with some error message that 
doesn't say anything. Eventually I found a command that allows to see more in 
terms of logging for RSED, and that gave me the bpx messages that told me that 
it wasn't the access to the APPL that was missing, it was the fact that program 
control didn't work correctly. After I defined the missing profile for the 
DFSMRCL0-library, I could connect. Same error in a completely different context.
