Hiya,
Just out of interest, how many extents are these catalogs in? if they havent
been reorged in 10 years they are probably due for some attention, not just for
a straight "tidyup" reorg (which will also remove the imbed & replicate) but
also give you the opportunity to make changes for performance enhancements.
Run some catalog address space displays and see how they are performing
