Just think (in a few years hopefully) that your replacement will come in and not think of you as a do nothing.

So much is platitudinous.  If these were the issues there would be
little to be said.  They are not.  As Mark's most recent post makes

Stasis is prized because on this view it is risk free.  Well, "The
