I look at it as the lesser of 2 evils.  My horse goes
barefoot 98% of the time, and I apply boots during
rocky rides.  The alternative would be shoes 100% of
the time.  And I havn't booted Andi at all.  But
Whisper has tender soles.  I am looking into a new
product called Sole-Guard that you apply and it wears
off in 3 weeks.  I need more info on it first, tho.
