My farrier has been around horse people so long that he gets a wee bit cynical sometimes. The last time he was out, he went on and on about the nice horses of particular breeds he knows, grinning as he pointed out that all the ones he likes and things nice-mannered, with healthy feet and legs are NOT "show quality" - no matter what the breed.
