You are most welcome. Thanks for sharing your initital
experience with the two distros and willing to lend
your service to burn them for others. It seems we have
got another mandrake fan :-). 
Anyway, what's the font problem that you are having
with rh 8.0. As far as i know, rh 8.0 is quite good in
installing fonts and of course in rendering too. Give
the details of your problem. 

In my opinion, debian3.0(codename woody) is damn good.
It's rock solid, has excellent package management,
almost all conceivable linux pacakage has got a debian
version. And i tell you if you got a broadband net
connection, nobody can beat it. Of course experienced
deb users will give you a better and elaborated view
of it.
