Hi, May I posit a perhaps not hypothetical question for advice/comment? Assuming money is not an object, would you buy an eMac or an 17" FP iMac, both of which are maxed out to 1 GB RAM, and have the largest capacity HD (looks like 40 GB in the eMac, and 80 GB in the iMac. Does the additional 100MHz in speed make any significant difference, and if so, for what? I'm not a game player. I don't intend to do anything with video. Also, can you tell me what the difference is to the viewer of a 1280x960 display in the eMac and the 1440x900 display in the iMac?
I've read in previous posts that the FP screen is not as "sharp" as the CRT screen. That might be a significant factor to me as I do a substantial amount of reading.
